The Children of the Nations Food Packing event was held June 10, 2009
Wow, what an evening! We made 2,000 meal kits and packed 10 boxes!!!!
We feel so blessed by all of you and your support for God’s work. We had an amazing time packing 2000 meal kits for Children of the Nations this evening. Thank you!!!!!
There were 13 of us working from 2 years old to ? The joy on the 2 year old Amber’s face to help test the kits for a good seal by throwing them on the floor was priceless. The boxes were decorated with pictures by her 4 year old sister Ashley. Both girls helped count and pack 9 boxes of kits.
We had a great gathering of people who gave their time to help those in need. Our new neighbors came, friends from other organizations we belong to, our community, and friends in Missio Lux all made this a success.
The best part was Kent and I were at peace with not knowing how many people were going to come. (This was because God had this all orchestrated and we really felt he was in control) What an amazing feeling.
And it was mutlipled….We have two people who committed to holding an event with their groups they are part of. Very Exciting!!!!!
God is good and it was a beautiful experience.
